Kristina Holmes
Kristina Holmes is
partner literary agent and consultant at Ebeling & Associates. Kristina
brings a varied blend of personal and professional experience that
makes her uniquely suited for the out-of-the-box work our agency is
involved in.
An avid traveler
since birth, Kristina’s first international trip was when she was 3
days old to Grand Cayman. She has visited many countries including
Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France,
Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Canada, Mexico, Fiji and
Thailand on 4 continents. As the only daughter of an “old-school”
Brit, 58 years her senior, Kristina was exposed to an international
style of thinking that encouraged her to continually widen her
perspective and take into account those of others around the globe.
Converting her
apple-pie American Mom to the gypsy life, the trio moved around the
country over three dozen times. By the time Kristina graduated from
high school, she had visited 39 states, attended 16 different
schools, skipped the 9th grade and achieved over 20
college credits.
Kristina found her
spiritual “piko” (meaning “home” in Hawaiian) on Molokai at age 11
and moved there in 1999. Discovering beauty, sustenance, and sheer
joy on this remote island, Kristina spent two and a half amazing
years finding herself as a young woman. She would (somewhat
reluctantly) go on to Oahu to achieve a B.A. in Anthropology with a
broad foundation in archaeology, and physical, cultural and
ecological anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in
2002.
Through this life
of travels and exposure to diverse cultures, Kristina developed a zest and passion for our
planet. She has always had an inquisitive mind, not only
unwilling to accept the status quo, but actively seeking ways to
uncover unusual opportunities and engage in new adventures. One of
Kristina's greatest talents is her inclination towards a macro-viewpoint
(or "big picture thinking"),
working closely with each client to distill their message according
to their truest vision. Kristina's high aspirations have helped our clients
achieve a great level of success.
Foremost among
these aspirations are to help make the world a brighter and more
conscious place to live. Across a wide variety of genres,
Kristina has assisted our authors in creating winning book
proposals, book marketing plans, land significant deals with major
New York publishing houses - as well as challenging clients to
become even better authors.

latest in the publishing and technology worlds of prime importance,
as well as continuing to nurture the industry relationships that

In terms of
acquisitions, Kristina is considering all projects with individuals
who have developed a significant platform for themselves. In
particular, she is seeking submissions in the areas of spirituality, health and
nutrition, self-help/personal growth,
parenting, women's issues, celebrity/Hollywood
based books with substance, memoir, pets, current affairs,
narrative and serious nonfiction and anything that is creative and the
first of its kind. Kristina accepts submissions via email, either
